This program is for campers interested in 1/2 day of  science combined with 1/2 day of sports or skillboosters .  All programs are offered at the Turnbull Learning Centre on Fisher Avenue.

To use this optional program, book 1/2 day session with Hila Science Camp and  an additional  1/2 day with either the Sports Camp program or the Skillboosters program.  All programs run Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 4:00 with before and after child care available.

Make it Your Game Sports School

We have arranged with Craig Dunn, a physical education instructor and summer camp operator, to provide a 1/2 day of sports activities for campers interested in more variety in their program.  Craig has many years experience at organizing and teaching sports in both schools and at summer camps in the Ottawa area and throughout the north.   His successful basketball camps have been presented not only here but in some of the most remote locations in northern Canada.   Craig's professional staff combined with the state of the art facilities at Turnbull school provides the best in sports programming.

Skillboosters (available sessions 1,2,3 and 4):

Another option is 1/2 day of Hila Science Camp combined with 1/2 day of Turnbull School's innovative Skillboosters program. 
Turnbull School's summer staff offer a variety of programs designed to boost skills and confidence in all areas of academics. These motivating and dynamic courses help children to develop the skills they need for success. This program can be taken in conjunction with 1/2 day of Hila Science Camp.

Book a 1/2 day with Hila and then spend the other 1/2 of the day  at Sports Camp or Skill Builders. Fees for the 1/2 day program are 1/2 the regular fee.
